Sales Associate (Client Liason)

Overview:
The Sales Associate is responsible for selling the company product, services and vision.

The Sales Associate is responsible for providing a constant flow of work to production. In addition, the Sales Associate is to assist in ensuring that the construction of the projects sold is performed correctly, cost effectively, expeditiously and in the highest level of quality. He/She is to interface with the client, architects and designers to solicit feedback to ensure customer satisfaction.

The Sales Associate is to interface with the Estimating Department and the Production Department to ensure that there is a smooth hand off from Sales to Production as well as proper communication between Sales and Estimating.

The employee is expected to participate in the development of the operating system of the organization, to contribute continuously to the innovation required to move the organization into the top of its class, and to aid the organization in performing always at the highest level of service and quality.

SALES & MARKETING:

Marketing:

  • Assist in the development and implementation of the Marketing Plan
  • Monitor results and make recommendations
  • Promote website to facilitate sales and education about the Company

Leads:

  • Prospect for new leads
  • Follow up on leads provided by Sales Manager or General Manager
  • Qualify and Disqualify leads
  • Fill out Lead Information Sheet
  • Track Leads
  • Call all leads back within 24 hours
  • Cultivate referrals
  • Network

Proposals:

  • Write Proposals where necessary and receive approval from the General Manager prior to submittal

Customer Relations:

  • Follow-up on status of project and customer satisfaction.
  • Solicit feedback, testimonial letters and customer surveys from sold and not sold clients
  • Call all clients back within 24 hours

ESTIMATING:

  • Interface with Estimating Department to ensure understanding of project costs
  • Provide feedback to Estimating Department in regard to client needs
  • Provide feedback to Estimating Department in regard to accuracy of estimate
  • Provide feedback to Estimating Department in regard to timing of bid needs
  • Provide Estimating Department with required information regarding selections from client or any special requirements
  • Calculate preliminary estimates
  • Ballpark figuring in initial stages of Sale

PROJECT MANAGEMENT:

  • Follow-up on and provide feedback to the General Manager in regard to quality and service
  • Monitor project schedule in accordance with Contract
  • Conduct Sales to Production hand-off meeting

ADMINISTRATIVE:

Design and Design/Build:

  • Interface with the Architects and Designers during Sale, Design and Production
  • Determine the Design needs of each project and make appropriate recommendations to Sales Manager or General Manager
  • Perform minor design or sketching during the Sale
  • Provide feedback on how to make the process better
  • Promote the Design/Build process

Administration:

  • Assist in Money Collection
  • Provide appropriate paperwork for design and build contracts

Education:

  • Attend HBRA and other Association seminars on a regular basis
  • Suggest related courses and seminars to encourage personal and professional growth

Documentation:

  • Update Lead spreadsheet on a daily basis
  • Fill out Sales to Production hand off checklist and make sure that notebook and package is ready and complete
  • Ensure the Estimating to Sales checklist is complete
  • Track and Report Bid to Get Ratios on a monthly basis
  • Document and track goals (sales and other) weekly
  • Provide Lead Status Report for weekly meeting with General Manager
  • Client Surveys quarterly or as needed
